About the Architect:Julia Molloy Gallagher founded the licensed architecture office Julia Molloy Gallagher Architecture PLLC in 2017. Prior to establishing her own firm, Gallagher worked on projects abroad with world class design and construction projects ranging from the Guggenheim in Abu Dhabi to Overseas United States Embassies to International Fashion and Lifestyle Centers. Now with JMGA, she focusses on New York local projects including a new artist residency in Upstate New York, the renovation of Harlem School for the Arts, and custom home design in in the outer boroughs. She has taught architecture and interior design for over a decade at major universities including New York Institute of Technology, Parsons School of Design, and the Graduate School of Architecture Preservation and Planning at Columbia University. She is a proud graduate from Barnard College, a registered architect in the state of New York, and a LEED Accredited Professional. She lives in Bushwick, Brooklyn with her two boys, husband, and trusty cat.
